GIRLS SAY NO TO WHITE GLOVES

Artists Amy Marjoram, Kate Robertson, Amanda Schembri and Michelle
Tran met whilst studying Fine Arts at the Victorian College of Arts.

The exhibition came together through endless discussion about the
multiple possibilities the photographic medium lends to artists,
beyond the pristine 'white gloved' image placed on a wall. This
exhibition is an exploration of the robust and malleable potential of
photography; a celebratory embrace of photography's expanding and
continual value to the visual arts.

The outcome is a group exhibition, including darting disco lasers,
moving portraits, expanding plants, and alternative floor samples,
accompanying a collaborative installation on the gallery's window and
a catalogue written by Claire Richardson.
